We have record-breaking and heartbreaking droughts, floods, heat and violent storms, all predicted by global warming science. I wonder if the Republicans and the handful of climate scientists who deny global warming are beginning to question their pronouncements that it is a hoax. Every scientific society in the U.S. that deals with climate, including American Society of Agronomy, Geological Society of America, American Meteorological Society, and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, has statements about the truth of global warming.
The U.S. National Academy of Sciences was established by Abraham Lincoln to advise the government on scientific matters. The current membership is 2,200 American scientists and 400 foreign associates. They are the most respected and accomplished scientists in our country and include 200 Nobel laureates. The U.S. National Academy of Sciences has published numerous books on global warming that are available for free download at http://www.issues.org/climate.html. Inform yourself about the truth of global warming from a reliable, knowledgeable and unbiased source and let us work together to address it before it is too late.
