Letter: Global-warming deniers know which party will soothe their desires
A few days ago, Dr. Richard Muller, the guru of the global warming deniers issued a report that stated that not only is global warming happening, the primary cause is humans.
The other day the North Carolina Legislature passed a law that no sea level rise projections will be factored into any policy for coastal development. The lawmakers want a moratorium on predictions of sea level rise until scientific techniques improve.
North Carolina is one of the Republican-controlled states that has passed more restrictive voting laws to prevent voting fraud. There are no apparent mass voting fraud allegations, but they want to prevent something that hasn't happened.
As long as they're passing stupid laws, why not pass one that either North Carolina or Duke will win the national football championship for the next 10 years? I guess the chemicals in those Smithfield hams have finally destroyed their brains.
